Today in Rat City news…
My sixth wood wall commission is nearly completed at Caffè Delia in White Center. All panels are installed, and most of the trim is in place.
All that remains is a bit of staining and the addition of more brass details.
These walls are like quilts to me, a skill I’ve always greatly admired. As in many quilts, each bit of wood/fabric is a vessel of memory. By compiling these vastly fragmented memories, a new story is told – an epic story with many characters and locations.
I hope you will stop by and see my newest work and enjoy a great cup of coffee. ☆MTH
